SEI appoints Managing Director of Global Fund Services

SEI has appointed Barry O’Rourke as Managing Director of its Dublin-based fund accounting, fund administration and shareholder services business.

SEI has appointed Barry O’Rourke as Managing Director of its Dublin-based fund accounting, fund administration and shareholder services business.


O’Rourke joins the company from HSBC Alternative Fund Services (formerly Bank of Bermuda) where he was Director and Head of Alternative Fund Administration for their Irish based Securities Services business. During 10 years in that role, he was directly responsible for successfully setting up the alternative investments division in Dublin. Prior to joining HSBC, O’Rourke spent five years at Bank of Bermuda in Luxembourg.

SEI’s Dublin-based Global Fund Services business was established in November 1995 and has witnessed considerable growth over the last ten years. Overall, SEI services over 600 alternative funds with approximately EUR 59 (USD 70) billion in assets.
