Ron Suber is leaving Bear Stearns where he worked for 14 years and is headed for Spectrum Global Fund Administration where he will join as President.

Suber was a Senior Managing Director and the Manager of Global Clearing Sales for the Prime Brokerage, Correspondent Clearing and Registered Investment Advisor businesses at Bear Stearns.

David J Young, the current President of Spectrum, said: ‘We look forward to Ron joining our team and enabling me to focus my efforts on creating and leading new solutions and initiatives for Spectrum.’ Spectrum is headquartered in Chicago with offices in Cayman Islands, Bangalore India, New York and London, with over USD 24 billion of client assets under administration.

Suber will be reporting to Michael E Griffin, Chief Executive Officer of Spectrum. Griffin said: ‘Spectrum’s growth prospects are indeed exciting. Our success; however, is not defined by assets under administration, but by what our clients say regarding the quality of our products and services.  Accordingly, our investment in both technology and superior people is of paramount importance to our growth strategy.  We believe Ron will be a significant addition to our management team as we continue to meet the challenge of balancing growth with providing an ever expanding array of quality solutions.’
