Infinity Capital Group has launched a fund of hedge funds that only invests in strategies that yield significant tax efficiencies to high net-worth investors.

Infinity Tax Advantaged Fund, LP is one of the first funds of its kind. The unique benefit of this type of strategy is that it seeks to generate attractive returns versus risk on both a pre and after tax basis. To achieve this goal the Infinity Tax-Advantaged Fund, LP, will invest primarily in municipal bond trading hedge funds.

According to Jeff Vale, the firm’s Director of Research, most of the underlying managers are veteran bond traders who have previously worked in a proprietary trading environment. ‘We felt it was a unique opportunity to place our capital along side the capital of some of the best muni-bond traders in the business,’ he says. ‘In addition to municipal bond strategies the fund will invest in other hedge fund strategies that also are designed to deliver consistent tax efficient returns.’

Infinity Capital Group, LLC is a division of Infinity Capital Partners, LLC an Atlanta, Georgia based manager of alternative investment products. Infinity Capital Group, LLC launched the Infinity Tax-Advantaged Fund, LP in October of 2005 in response to investor demands for a hedge fund of funds product that was more tax sensitive and has recently begun accepting subscriptions. Infinity Capital spent 12 months performing research, due-diligence, and portfolio construction. The Infinity Tax-Advantaged Fund, LP seeks to generate attractive levels of tax-efficient income as well as provide a hedge against rising interest rates. Infinity Capital Partners, LLC currently manages approximately USD 150 million in alternative investment products.
