London-based Thayer Brook Partners are planning a Ucits-compliant version of their Thayer Brook Global Diversified Fund, which they are expecting to roll out by the end of the year, Hedgeweek can reveal. Managed futures funds are currently proving popular as investors look beyond the volatility of equity markets. And thanks to the fund’s strategy doing well this year, Thayer Brook have been approached by a large European Asset Management group to widen the investor base with a Ucits wrapper. “We’ve received a number of investor inquiries in relation to a UCITS version of the strategy and the project is well underway,” says Thayer Brook Marketing Director, Anthony Murray
