Advent Software, a provider of software and services to the global investment management industry, has established a consulting alliance with Softagon Corporation, a provider of custom integration and data management consulting services to hedge funds.
Softagon will provide customised software and integration platforms to clients using Geneva, Advent’s investment management and accounting platform. The firm, which was founded in 1998 and has consulting professionals in San Francisco and New York, already has experience of working with hedge funds and prime brokers that have deployed Geneva and other Advent systems.
Softagon will offer various services to firms using Geneva, including application design and analysis, application development, report customisation, integration services, procedure documentation, conversions, project management, test services, ongoing support and user training.
Geneva is used by asset managers, hedge funds, fund administrators, prime brokers and mutual funds and offers comprehensive instrument coverage, full financial general ledger, and industry-standard integration tools to enable firms to manage complex investment vehicles, multiple investment strategies and tiered fund structures.
