SunGard appoints Gareth Quinn as MD of Alternative Investments

Gareth Quinn has joined SunGard’s Enterprise Solutions group as managing director of alternative investments.

As one of the major providers of technology for the alternatives industry, SunGard’s appointment of Quinn signals its continued commitment to providing consolidated solutions for the sector.  Based in London, Quinn will focus on helping customers best leverage SunGard’s broad solution suite for alternative investments.

Quinn has over 15 years experience in international institutional financial services, with assignments ranging from Hong Kong to New York and London. He also has proven experience within the prime brokerage/electronic trading arena.  Prior to joining SunGard, Quinn was chief executive officer of Trade Stream Global.  Before this he held various roles at Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley.
