Eden Rock Capital Management, the London-based asset based lending and structured finance firm, has made three further strategic hires, including the recruitment of David Gervais to the investment team, where he is focusing on the firm's asset based lending exposures.

Gervais first gained financial experience in Paris working for both Natexis and General Electric Capital in the area of leasing finance from 1997 onward. On moving to London in 2002 he joined Refco as a credit analyst and assisted in the development and implementation of the firm's credit risk database before becoming a member of Refco's credit committee, monitored both client and counterparty risk on a daily basis.

In 2004 he joined Bank of America's asset-based lending arm, Bank of America Business Capital, where he advised clients on legal, financial and structuring issues relating to potential asset-based lending deals across continental Europe.

Huan Ke, formerly with Financial Risk Management, has joined Eden Rock as general counsel. Oxford graduate Ke joined Clifford Chance in 2000 and acted as lead lawyer on a variety of structured fund products.

Ke joined FRM in 2005 as a senior vice-president and joint head of the transaction legal business department as well as a member of the business risk group, a team created to consider issues such as fraud, infrastructure and operational risk at investee hedge funds.

Emma Tod has joined Eden Rock's marketing department as relationship manager following five years with Numis Securities, where she was an initial core member of the equity capital markets team and head of investor relations.
