Hedge fund operations service provider Viteos Fund Services has announced the launch of a specialist middle office service and fund administration offering for private investment in public equity funds, reflecting their growing popularity among Viteos's expanding hedge fund client base.
The service covers the entire post-trade lifecycle of Pipes activity including deal documentation and document storage, trade operations, reconciliations, conversions, broker-counterparty interaction, sales tracking, prospectus tracking, support for regulatory filing, support for internal compliance-related information and of customised reporting. The solution also addresses valuation and FASB 157 requirements specific to Pipes.
Viteos says the new services reflect its enhanced presence in the marketplace and growing demand for middle-office services that address very complex securities processing and are available around the clock.
The firm says smaller funds are requiring a full suite of middle office and fund administration services, while larger firms that are not ready to switch from their current fund administration providers are embracing the tactical outsourcing offered by Viteos.
