BCS bolsters equity derivatives trading team in London

BCS Financial Group has appointed Matthieu Ressencourt as managing director and head of equity derivatives trading in London.

Ressencourt joins from VTB Capital where he headed up the equity volatility trading until departing in March 2014.
 
He was one of the founding members of the equity volatility trading team in 2008 at VTB Capital and helped to develop both the institutional client business and options market making activity on LSE Derivatives, Eurex and the Moscow Derivatives Exchange.
 
Ressencourt began his career with Credit Agricole where he worked in both New York and Paris as an equity derivatives trader before moving to Lehman Brothers in London in a similar role.
 
He will report to Joseph Dayan, managing director of BCS Financial Group in London.
 
Dayan says: “Matthieu has a strong record of helping to develop and grow the trading side of businesses which has been demonstrated throughout his career; this includes growing teams from scratch and creating new products for clients.  We look forward to welcoming Matthieu to BCS and working together to continue to grow the company.” 
 
Ressencourt says: “This move to BCS seemed a natural choice for my career progression, I have always been impressed by how BCS has grown to be so dominant in the Russian market and expand abroad. I look forward to helping to grow the business and utilise my experience in equity derivatives to expand this offering for BCS.”
