ResearchPool, a digital platform for investment research, has appointed Antoine Loudenot (pictured), as Partner and Chief Marketing Officer to lead the communications, marketing and product design activities for the firm.

Loudenot has top-tier experience in the investment banking industry as counsel to clients, and as head of investor relations. He will focus on expanding relations with the media and public institutions in the financial research/financial communication ecosystem.

“A combination of regulatory and technological changes allows the relationship between sell side, buy side and issuers to be enhanced. Our clients are seeking smart, open and transparent tools to unlock the pools of knowledge ResearchPool brings together. We will empower them in their tasks, as well allow them to have a clear vision on the patterns of intelligence gathering on the platform.”

ResearchPool’s head office will open in Paris to ensure it is positioned to best serve its global customers and take advantage of regulatory and structural changes in the EU. ResearchPool SAS will become the holding company from ResearchPool Ltd in due course, and will benefit the firm through increased access to resources whilst continuing to work with new and existing research providers, investment companies and strategic partners worldwide.

“ResearchPool is expanding and we are positioning ourselves with quality investment and people, and geographically, to best capitalise on opportunities and drive our continued growth,” says Pedro Fernandes, founder and CEO of the firm. “Antoine’s experience and knowledge in capital markets and technology bring a unique insight into the industry, the forthcoming changes to take place and a panoramic view of the interactions between the buy-side, sell-side and issuers. This combined with the benefits of being located in Paris accelerates our ability to offer customers the best possible solutions for their needs in a rapidly changing environment.”
