The gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index in February 2018 measured -0.88 per cent.
Hedge fund flows as measured by the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index meanwhile, advanced 0.42 per cent in March.
“SS&C GlobeOp’s Capital Movement Index gained 0.42 per cent for March 2018, somewhat lower than the 0.63 per cent gain reported for the same period a year ago, but well within the recent range of variation,” says Bill Stone (pictured), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. “I would note year to date net inflows are running 1.80 per cent better than the same period a year ago, leading the industry to a strong start in 2018.”
