ProMeritum Investment Management, an emerging markets fixed income manager focussed on Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA), has appointment of Brian Seel, who spent the last eight years with the US Treasury Department, as Economist.
In this role at ProMeritum, Seel is primarily responsible for economic and policy analysis, idea generation and research. He most recently served as the Treasury Attaché to the US Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, where he was responsible for leading Treasury’s macroeconomic monitoring, financial sector policy and engagement efforts both in Ukraine and across the CIS region.

Seel holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University, an MBA and Master of Science in Finance from Loyola University Chicago and a Master of Liberal Arts from the University of Chicago.
