Optima Partners appoints private equity and hedge fund adviser as COO

Global regulatory compliance firm Optima Partners as appointed private equity and hedge fund adviser David Gold as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In his new role, Gold will have significant responsibilities in helping shape the firm-wide culture and future business growth and development of the firm.
 
With nearly 20 years of alternative investments experience, Gold has displayed tremendous capabilities in advising private equity and hedge funds on best practices, conducting operational, investment due diligence and other related activities.
 
Most recently, Gold served as a senior member of Morgan Stanley’s prime brokerage consulting team, providing in-depth advisory and consulting,  services to start-up and established hedge funds. Earlier, he worked at Willis Towers Watson, BlackRock, Mitsui & Co, and CIBC Oppenheimer.
 
Gold is a frequent speaker at various conferences and has received major media coverage on his commentary focusing on a wide range of industry topics.
