Caspian, a full-stack crypto trading and risk management platform for institutional investors and sophisticated traders, has appointed Bletchley Park Asset Management Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer Lewis Fellas to its board of strategic advisers.

“Lewis has multi-decade experience in trading and investment, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to our team of advisors. We are excited to have built the leading institutional crypto trading platform and adding someone of Lewis’ calibre as an advisor, with his wealth of experience, will most certainly add to our trajectory,” says Robert Dykes, CEO of Caspian. “I am particularly looking forward to Lewis’ insight into the needs of hedge funds as we work together to drive the business forward and provide firms with easier access to the cryptocurrency asset class.”

Fellas has over 19 years of investment, research and trading experience, and was a portfolio manager at Harvard University’s USD39.2 billion endowment fund, before launching digital currency-focused asset manager Bletchley Park Asset Management in 2017. During his career, Fellas has also worked as a portfolio manager at flagship Hedge Funds, Segantii Capital Management and Deephaven Capital Management, having previously spent time as a trader at Lehman Brothers and JPMorgan Chase.

“Prior to its launch, a proper institutional crypto trading and risk management solution did not exist,” says Fellas. “Caspian has removed many of the barriers to entry for institutions and I’m confident they will continue to play a significant role in the expansion of the cryptocurrency asset class. I’m thrilled to be joining Caspian as an advisor and look forward to working closely with Robert and his talented team.”
