“With a move to new offices, new branding for the firm and some recent key strategic hires, it is an exciting time to join Conyers in Cayman. I am looking forward to collaborating with colleagues and offices from across the network and playing a part in the continued growth and overall success of the firm,” says Pattman.

Kevin Butler, Partner & Head of the Cayman Islands Office, says: “We are delighted to welcome Nicholas to the firm. He is a highly regarded lawyer and we anticipate that his experience and skills will help further strengthen our position as a leader in the market.”

Pattman trained and worked in the corporate and capital markets practice of a magic circle law firm in London, Milan and Rome before moving in-house as EMEA legal counsel at a large Japanese banking and financial services group. Before joining Conyers, Pattman was a Partner at a leading offshore firm in the Cayman Islands where he specialised in investment funds and corporate and finance matters. He has represented clients from various industries, including the technology, financial services, real estate and energy sectors, and has extensive experience working on transactions involving Latin America, in particular Brazil. An experienced and accomplished attorney, Pattman is recognised by Legal 500, Latin Lawyer and was the only offshore lawyer listed in Latinvex’s Top 100 International Lawyers in 2018.
