Trium adds to Dublin Super ManCo team

Related Topics

Trium has appointed Jamie Murphy as Head of Risk at Trium Ireland as part of the firm’s initiative to create a Dublin-based Super ManCo.

Subject to regulatory approval, the Irish office will add to Trium’s distribution capabilities, create a platform for growth and safeguard clients, partners and investors against long-term political uncertainty.

Murphy joined the Irish office, led by Andrew Collins, in April to oversee risk and regulatory compliance, working closely with the wider team in London. He will also be the designated person for management functions under CBI UCITS and non-UCITS regulations.

Murphy joins from KB Associates, bringing more than two decades of experience in product control, covering a wide range of financial instruments and structures. Previously, Murphy has also worked at JPMorgan, Citadel Investment Group and Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services.

Murphy says: “I am excited to join a dynamic and growing business that offers an innovative product range. Alternatives are playing an evolving role in investment portfolios, and the Trium proposition allows investors access to a diverse and compelling menu of products in both UCITS and AIF wrappers.”

Collins says: “We are delighted to have Jamie on board. His calibre and wealth of experience highlight Trium’s commitment to building a strong proposition in Ireland. Trium Ireland’s regulatory focus and risk oversight is integral to the broader business. Dublin has a thriving and flexible economy which we believe will underpin longer-term business growth.”

Collins has now moved to the Dublin office and Trium Ireland will continue to expand its staff as it bolsters operations in the capital over time.
