Amun AG, a Swiss fintech aiming to facilitate access to crypto-asset investments, has launched the Amun Bitwise Select 10 large cap crypto ETP (exchange traded product) on the SIX Swiss Exchange.

The ETP is based on the Bitwise 10 Select Large Cap Crypto Index.

Hany Rashwan, Amun Co-Founder and CEO, says: “Of all the existing crypto products currently listed globally, the Amun Bitwise Select 10 ETP is uniquely the most diversified listed crypto product.”

Matt Hougan, Global Head of Research for Bitwise Asset Management, adds: “We are thrilled to be working with Amun to help investors gain diversified exposure to the most important crypto projects. The Index is carefully designed to capture a broad array of crypto assets while accounting for many of the unique constraints presented by the current cryptocurrency ecosystem.”

Bitwise Asset Management is a provider of index and beta funds for the crypto-asset space. The firm created the world’s first crypto-asset index fund in 2017, and today manages multiple funds serving institutions, family offices, financial advisors, asset managers, and high net worth individuals. Its indexes serve as a benchmark for more than 30 crypto hedge funds, academics, and large financial institutions. It is a frequent commentator on crypto in publications like Institutional Investor, CNBC, Barron’s, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.

The Amun Bitwise Select 10 ETP (ticker: KEYS) tracks the performance of up to 10 of the largest crypto assets in the world.  All assets in the Index are approved by SIX as the underlying for an ETP, and are supported by appropriate market makers and available for custody at leading institutional custodians.  As of the May 31st rebalancing, the ETP includes eight crypto assets: Bitcoin (67.80 per cent), Ethereum (11.50 per cent), Ripple (8.33 per cent), Bitcoin Cash (3.52 per cent), Litecoin (3.47 per cent), EOS (3.36 per cent), Stellar (1.10 per cent) and Cardano (0.90 per cent).

Amun previously launched four exchange traded products (ETPs) allowing access to the top five cryptocurrencies basket (HODL), Bitcoin (ABTC), Ethereum (AETH) and Ripple (AXRP).  All four ETPs were listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and are heavily traded. HODL ETP is the most traded USD-denominated ETP on SIX since inception on November 21st, 2018, in terms of trading volume.
