IPSX Group (International Property Securities Exchange), which operates a regulated securities exchange dedicated to commercial property, has appointed Peter Wyllie to the role of Director, Capital Markets, reporting into Roger Clarke, Head of Capital Markets.
The IPSX team now comprises 17, following a number of hires over recent months as the management prepares for the next stages of the business’s development and works towards its first IPOs in the first half of next year.
Most recently a partner at the international hedge fund advisory firm, Sussex Partners, Wyllie brings around 35 years of capital markets experience to IPSX.
Wyllie previously spent three years at Odey Asset Management, first as Head of Institutional Sales and then as a Partner working with a diverse investor base including family offices and wealth managers. Prior to that, he had a 16 year career at Deutsche Bank, where he was a founder member of the UK Equities Sales Desk and held a variety of senior roles including Head of UK Sales, Head of UK Equities, Head of Pan-European Equity Sales and Head of Global Equity Sales, where he was ranked top three by key global buy-side teams.
Roger Clarke, Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets at IPSX, says: “Peter has a deep-seated experience of the global capital markets alongside a keen understanding of how different investors operate and what are looking to achieve from their portfolios. We are building a team of complementary professionals across the key areas of our business landscape and Peter’s asset management expertise, as well as his extensive network of relationships, will be a valuable addition to our capital markets team, particularly as we work towards welcoming the first issuers and assets onto the market next year.”
