LeverData appoints hedge fund industry leaders to advisory board

LeverData, a financial technology company that provides data ingestion, validation, and ongoing management solutions for corporations and financial services firms, has appointed long-time hedge fund executive Mike DeAddio, formerly of WorldQuant, Citadel and MIT, as well as former Managing Director for GIC, Siew Kai Choy, to the firm’s Advisory Board.Messrs DeAddio and Choy join LeverData amid accelerating client demand for the firm’s services, which solve long-standing industry shortfalls around proper data ingestion, validation, and managed services.

In their roles on the Advisory Board, Messrs DeAddio and Choy will oversee the continued growth and development of LeverData’s client base, as well as work directly with the senior management team on strategic initiatives.

Choy has over 30 years of experience in investment management, retiring from Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, GIC Private Limited, after 20 years of service. He was a Managing Director of GIC and held key leadership positions in Equities, Risk & Performance Management, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Governance and GIC Innovation Labs. He was also a member of the Corporate Management Committee and Group Risk Committee.

DeAddio oversaw the global day-to-day operations of WorldQuant, including the execution of strategic business and capital development initiatives. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, DeAddio was Chief Operating Officer at Credit Suisse Alternative Asset Management. DeAddio serves on the board of directors of BronxWorks and on the advisory board for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Institute for Data, Systems and Society.
