The gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index for April 2020 measured 4.21 per cent.Hedge fund flows as measured by the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index advanced 0.10 per cent in May.
“SS&C GlobeOp’s Capital Movement Index for May 2020 increased 0.10 per cent, indicating net capital flows into hedge funds,” says Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. “Though positive, on a year-over-year basis, this increase of 0.10% was lower than the 0.51% gain in net flows reported for May 2019. As this result follows improved net flows in each of the previous two months, it is not yet clear whether any pattern is forming following the COVID-19 outbreak.”
