CARL adds Victory Peak to quant strategies offering

Related Topics

CARL has bolstered its list of quantitative strategies previously only available to institutions and the uber-wealthy, with the addition of Victory Peak from Alphatative which is managed by David Bush.

This is the first time this sophisticated quant strategy has been made available to all investors for less than the traditional USD1 million buy-in. Investors can join Victory Peak for as low as USD20,000 through the CARL mobile app, which is available in the Apple App store with an Android version coming soon.

“We’re thrilled to be working with David and Victory Peak. I know we’re both excited to be providing Victory Peak access to more investors than ever before. It’s truly a new investments world,” says Gunnar Cuevas, CEO, CARL, Inc.

Victory Peak went live on CARL on 16 February, alongside CARL’s previous other investments K2, Olympus and Kilimanjaro. CARL is aiming to add a new quant strategy roughly every month during 2021.

CARL Inc was founded by Gunnar Cuevas and Cy Smith, and is a 100 per cent end-to-end digital platform that delivers sophisticated quantitative investments to accredited investors. The platform brings features never seen before for these investments such as lowered minimums, real-time performance data, diversification options and monthly liquidity. As a mobile app, it also removes barriers to access, improves risk control and often delivers 15-25 per cent targeted returns.

David Bush founded Alphatative with his investment strategy Stratversify which became Stratversify Enhanced, now offered by CARL as Victory Peak. Using the S&P 100 and Nasdaq 100 stocks, Victory Peak’s multiple systems compete for capital, emphasising compound annual return while aiming to minimise drawdown. This strategy seeks to determine the current behavioural regime and apply capital only when the corresponding probabilities show a positive mathematical expectation on a portfolio level.
