Digital asset investment products saw outflows totalling $423 million last week, the highest since records began by a considerable margin, according to the latest Digital Asset Fund Flows Weekly report from CoinShares.
The outflows occurred on 17 June but were reflected in last week’s figures due to trade reporting lags, and likely responsible for bitcoin’s decline to $17,760 that weekend.
The outflows were solely attributable to bitcoin, at $453 million.
Short-bitcoin products meanwhile, saw inflows totalling $15m due to the launch of the first US-based short investment product last week.
