Cadwyn Capital has added to it leadership team with the appointment of Parag Patel as chief risk officer and investment director. Patel will oversee risk management at the firm and be involved in the implementation and direction of investment strategies.
Prior to joining Cadwyn, Patel was CRO of Capula Investment Management for three years and chair of the firm’s investment committee, with global oversight of investment and enterprise risk, overseeing the firm’s growth from $18 billion to $25 billion in AUM, including expansion to eight funds, including several newly launched strategies.
Patel was previously at DWS and Deutsche Bank (London and New York) for 20 years, becoming managing director with global oversight of investment risk across a range of hedge fund and derivative platforms, including dbX, DB Platinum, dbSelect and others, as well as oversight of risk in the hedge fund derivative businesses within the investment bank and asset management units.
Parag holds an BSc (Hons) in Physics with Electronics from the University of Manchester Institute for Science and Technology and a BTec OND Electronic Engineering.
