Cambridge Associates adds two to leadership team

Global investment firm Cambridge Associates has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointments of chief data officer Harinder Soin and head of corporate strategy Adam Lester.

Soin reports to Jason Roberts, chief technology officer and Lester reports to the firm’s chief executive officer, David Druley.

As chief data officer, Soin is focused on implementing and overseeing the firm’s data strategy, governance, and execution. He joined Cambridge Associates in 2016, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in leading enterprise data architecture and designing IT applications and client reporting solutions in the investment management industry. He became the firm’s first chief data officer in 2019, a position that has now been elevated to the executive leadership team. Based in Boston, Soin is also an active member of the firm’s global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council.

Lester is the Global Head of Corporate Strategy, based in New York. He will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to define Cambridge Associates’ strategic direction and execute against major strategic initiatives. Lester, who joined Cambridge Associates in November 2022, has more than a decade of strategic and business development experience across financial services.
