Aaro Capital, a specialist in digital assets and digital ledger technology investments, has appointed Axel Ullmann as sales director. Ullman, who joins the firm from Degroof Petercam Asset Management (DPAM) where he served as as Senior International Sales Director for six years, will be working closely with CEO Peter Habermacher, and fellow sales director Liz Adnitt, who joined Aaro from Sanlam Investments in January of this year.
Ullman will be based in Germany and take on respsonsiblity for overseeing sales and distribution activities in the region, including the development of new and existing institutional client relationships.
Ullman has over 20 years of experience in senior sales and management roles in the asset management sector. Prior to his time at DPAM, he served as head of wholesale Germany and Austria at Amundi and also held senior positions at KBC and UBS.
