Marathon Asset Management (Marathon), a global credit investment manager offering hedge funds, managed accounts, single-client funds and collateralised loan, and debt obligation vehicles, has named Ed Cong, who joined the firm 17 years ago, as its newest partner.
Cong will continue to serve as senior portfolio manager for the firm’s Structured Credit and Asset Based Lending businesses and is a member of Marathon’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Marathon, Cong, who is based in New York, worked in investment banking at Citigroup, having begun his career as a research analyst at MSCI Barra, according to his LinkedIn Profile.
