Novare, a South Africa-based provider of investment solutions to institutional investors and family offices, has appointed Handré Retief as its new equity and fixed income portfolio manager, according to a report by Citywire.
In his new position at Novare, Retief, who joined the company at the beginning of July, reports directly to Derrick Roper, Novare’s Executive Director.
Retief previously worked at ID Capital, joining the firm as an analyst in 2019.
He said: “I’m a multi-asset and hedge fund portfolio manager, but I’m mainly focused on hedge funds.”
