Abra, a global platform for digital asset prime services and wealth management, has appointed David Streltsoff as Global Head of Institutional Sales. He will report directly to Bill Barhydt, the company’s Founder and CEO.
While Streltsoff will work across all three of Abra’s businesses, Abra Private, Abra Treasury, and Abra Prime, his primary focus initially will be Abra Prime.
Streltsoff’s appointment follows that of Bohan Jiang, Head of OTC Options Trading, who joined Abra in April to launch an OTC options trading solution, having previously been the lead crypto options and derivatives market-maker for Goldman Sachs in New York.
Streltsoff has 24 years of experience in sales and business development for electronic trading firms, with six years’ experience in the digital assets industry. He joins from Anchorage Digital, where he was Head of Institutional Sales, focused on trading solutions. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President, Institutional Digital Assets at FalconX and Head of Systematic Trading Sales.
Streltsoff has also held the role of Director, Global Sales and Business Development at Citadel Securities, and spent 13 years at Knight Direct as a Director of Business Development focused on electronic trading, where he helped to build one of the largest technology software-as-a-service brokerages.
Abra Prime is one of the first true prime services offerings in the digital assets space, led by a senior team with over 75 years of TradFi experience at BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Citadel Securities, and Goldman Sachs. Its 24/7 trading desk offers voice and electronic broking across spot, options, and credit/margin.
