Anacapa Advisors, a Californian-based market directional hedge fund firm, has expanded its leadership team with two new senior hires – Sam Rosenberg as Head of Business Development, and Mark Wayner as Senior Fund Manager.
Rosenberg brings ith 30 years of experience to his new role at Anacapa, including leadership roles at $1bn-plus hedge funds, Natixis and Société Générale. Wayner meanwhile, who will team with the firm's CEO and Founder Phil Pecsok in day-to-day portfolio management responsibilities, also has 30 years of industry experience in futures, derivatives and options trading from prior roles at Citadel, Bank of America and BNP-Paribas.
Anacapa also made two additions to its Advisory Board: Mark Lipson, founder and former CEO of the NorthStar family of mutual funds and a former senior Managing Director at both US Trust and Bessemer Trust, and Dominic Curcio, co-founder and former President of Guggenheim Partners.
