Brevan Howard strengthens US team with PM hire from Two Sigma

Brevan Howard is expanding its New York operations with the hire of Portfolio Manager Hsu, who joins from US hedge fund Two Sigma where he spent three years a Vice President. Hsu, will take up his new position in December, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Hsu’s prior experience includes roles at MKP Capital Management (2019–2021) and BlueCrest Capital Management, as well as beginning his career as an analyst at Morgan Stanley in 2013.

Is Brevan Howard actively recruiting across multiple offices. The firm, founded in 2002, now employs more than 1,000 staff globally, including over 145 portfolio managers in London, New York, Geneva, and Abu Dhabi.

Recent hires at Brevan Howard include former senior JPMorgan banker Carlos Hernandez as executive chair, Martial Collet-Billon from Deutsche Bank as a money manager, and ex-Goldman Sachs partner Thalia Chryssikou as senior portfolio manager. The firm is also seeking a frontier market strategist for its London office, according to LinkedIn job postings.
