Quant hedge fund firm Castle Ridge Asset Management has launched its AI multi-strategy, which is powered by WALLACE, the firm’s proprietary AI platform.
A petascale — meaning it can solve a quadrillion (10^15) calculations each second — supercomputer launched last September enables WALLACE to optimise multi-strategy investment mandates, according to Castle Ridge. Its computing power allows the firm to generate and combine numerous independent cross-asset return streams, with the aim of greater diversification and improved Sharpe ratios.
In a statement, Adrian de Valois-Franklin, CEO of Castle Ridge, said: “The leap from single strategies to multi-strategies is like solving a Rubik’s cube where every small square is itself another Rubik’s cube.
“The complexity explodes exponentially!”
