Citadel has added two former Segantii Capital Management employees – Andrew Pidgeon and Peter Christie – following the closure of the hedge fund firm amid allegations of insider trading against founder Simon Adler and other employees, according to a report by eFinancial Careers. Pidgeon, who served as Segantii's head of treasury and financing for seven years in Hong Kong, has joined Citadel as the APAC Head of Treasury. Before Segantii, he was a director at Credit Suisse, specialising in delta one and derivatives trading. Christie, a support engineer and US Navy veteran who spent 13 months at Segantii, has also moved to Citadel, taking on a role in New York in end user support.
