Derivitec, an independent software vendor providing risk analytics solutions to hedge funds and family offices, has established an office in New York following a rapid rise in user numbers amongst its US clients.
In a press statement Derivitec said that: “The time zone constraints of the US markets and the need for rapid response to client requests has necessitated the establishment of a physical presence” close to its client base in New York and the company is ow actively recruiting for quantitative analyst roles in the new office.
Derivitec, which was founded in 2011, went live with its platform after three years of testing at the end of 2014 with its first clients onboarded in London on 2015.
Derivitec subsequently expanded client coverage to Hong Kong, and then Singapore, establishing its Hong Kong office at the end of 2018. The firm signed its first US client during the Covid crisis in 2020, before developing a full, live risk platform for US clients when travel restrictions eased at the beginning of 2022.
