Digital asset investment products saw inflows totalling $270m last week, taking total inflows so far this year to a new record of $37.3bn, according to the latest Digital Asset Fund Flows Weekly Report from CoinShares.
Bitcoin saw outflows of $457m, the first significant outflows since early September this year in what CoinShares believes is profit-taking following bitcoin testing the "very psychological level of $100k".
Ether, meanwhile, saw inflows of $634m, and has experienced a dramatic turnaround in sentiment which has seen year-to-date inflows hit $2.2bn.
