Singapore-based hedge fund Dymon Asia Capital has added senior investment talent as it continues to expand following a strong performance year, with the appointment of Wissam Mezrani as a portfolio manager in Singapore, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Mezrani who will focus on cross-asset derivatives strategies, joins from Millennium Management, where he spent just under two years as a senior portfolio manager.
Prior to Millennium, Mezrani spent four years at Citigroup in Hong Kong and Singapore, serving as head of quantitative market making in both locations. Earlier in his career, he also held trading roles at Société Générale and Credit Suisse.
At Dymon, Mezrani reunites with Anass Hamedi, a former colleague from Millennium and fellow graduate of France’s CentraleSupélec, with whom he previously worked in the same portfolio management pod.
The hire comes amid rapid growth at Dymon Asia Capital. The firm’s multi-strategy fund returned around 18% in 2025 and posted a record 5% gain in January 2026. Dymon added close to 20 portfolio managers last year as part of a broader headcount expansion and is expected to continue hiring through 2026 as it builds out its multi-pod platform across Asia.
