Global private investment firm Fairlight Capital Partners has acquired a minority stake in Noviscient, an award-winning fintech that is transforming how emerging and boutique managers launch, operate and scale institutional-grade hedge funds.
Singapore-based Noviscient seeks to supports the growth of the next generation of fund managers by reducing operating costs while significantly speeding up manager onboarding and time to market.
At the core of its proposition is FundBox.ai, a Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution that provides end-to-end infrastructure including fund formation, compliance, administration, onboarding and reporting. This enables new managers to become operational within 1-2 months, with fund setup and operating expenses up to 70% lower than traditional structures.
FundBox’s digital operating system allows managers to focus entirely on generating returns, enabling them to build institutional track records with as little as $2m in starting capital.
Fairlight Capital Partners, which seeds, backs and builds specialist investment managers, joins other strategic investors in supporting Novisicent’s expansion across Asia and globally.
