Fidelity Prime Services, the prime brokerage of Fidelity Investments’s institutional trading arm, has appointed Jeffrey Cantafio as Vice President of Business Consulting in New York, where he will report to James Coughlin, Senior Vice President, Prime Services.
In his new role, Cantafio will develop launch plans for startup hedge funds and introduce third-party service providers such as legal counsel, fund administrators, compliance consultants and technology solutions.
Cantafio was most recently an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley’s prime brokerage business consulting group. Prior to his 20-year tenure at Morgan Stanley, he worked in prime brokerage client services at US clearing house Pershing between 1999-2004, according to his LinkedIn profile.
