Visio Lending, the mortgage lending division of Visio Financial Services, has appointed Jenny Coupland, the former Managing Director of Private Investment at credit hedge fund Beach Point Capital Management, as the firm’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Coupland aims to drive the next phase of Visio Lending’s growth by leveraging her expertise as a board member, her track record in hedge fund investment optimisation, and her extensive legal and business experience within the financial sector and beyond. At Beach Point, Coupland oversaw the management and optimisation of the hedge fund’s private investments.
She succeeds founder CEO Jeff Ball and President Matt Matza, who recently retired.
Before her tenure at Beach Point, Coupland worked as an attorney at Winston & Strawn and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where she advised issuers and financial institutions on complex structured transactions.
She also spent several years specialising in correspondent lending, whole loan pricing, and trading for one of the nation’s largest mortgage lenders.
