Rupen Nagda, the former chief risk officer at BlueCrest Capital Management, has joined London-based macro hedge fund Symmetry Investments, according to a report by eFinancial Careers citing a recent regulatory filing.
Nagda took up his new role on 17 March, having departed BlueCrest in September 2025 after nearly six years as CRO. He originally joined the firm in 2020 and is understood to have spent time on gardening leave following his exit.
With more than two decades of experience in financial markets, Nagda previously held trading roles at Commerzbank and later served as head of rates market risk at BNP Paribas in London.
Symmetry Investments, founded in 2014 by former Millennium Management portfolio managers Feng Guo and Michael Robinson, focuses on systematic macro and fixed income strategies.
