Herbert Filho, the former head of European credit trading and research at Morgan Stanley, has left Bobby Jain’s multi-strategy hedge fund Jain Global, according to a report by eFinancial Careers citing regulatory filings and market sources.
Filho joined Jain Global in 2025 after departing Morgan Stanley, where he was a senior figure in the bank’s European credit business. However, records on the UK Financial Conduct Authority Register indicate that he exited Jain Global on 2 February 2026. Headhunters have also confirmed his departure.
Neither Filho nor Jain Global has commented on the move, and it is not yet clear where Filho will take his next role. Market participants describe him as a well-regarded credit trader with a strong reputation following his tenure at Morgan Stanley.
