Hazeltree has strengthened its commercial team with the appointment of Rowan Shri Rohatgi as sales manager for hedge funds, as the treasury management technology provider continues to expand its presence across the alternative investment sector.
Based in New York, Shri Rohatgi will report to Chief Commercial Officer Doug Trafalet and will be responsible for supporting the firm’s hedge fund client base and driving business development initiatives.
He joins Hazeltree from Goldman Sachs, where he spent six years within the firm’s Prime Services business, working across both Singapore and London. During his time at the investment bank, he advised hedge funds and asset managers on areas including liquidity management, margin optimisation, counterparty risk and operational efficiency.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, Shri Rohatgi held positions at Wellington Management, GMO and Deloitte India, giving him experience across investment management and financial services.
