A new platform from Navatar Group is aiming to help traders to tap into sell-side intelligence by automatically capturing and consolidating valuable insights gleaned from their daily interactions with bank and brokerage sales teams.
The platform which is designed to work seamlessly with Salesforce, employs AI to organise intelligence by equity or credit instruments, tranches, sectors, and market events, allowing hedge funds to complement their internal research with detailed sell-side data. This includes market insights, trading ideas, and evaluations of the credibility of their sell-side counterparts.
With global hedge fund assets hitting a record $4.5tn in October, according to Wells Fargo analysts, Navatar’s CRM software helps managers analyse historical data from salespeople and sell-side analysts across multiple banks to identify top-performing relationships.
According to a press statement, the platform allows firms to “move beyond efficiency gains and focus on creating a competitive edge”.
