Hedge fund analysis specialist HFR has launched an expanded strategy classification system for hedge funds and alternative investment products focused on the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, with the introduction of 11 specialised sub-strategies.
According to a press statement, HFR’s strategy expansion offers granular insights into the unique and specific investment strategies available for investment in the exciting and rapidly evolving cryptocurrency and blockchain space.
Over the five-year period ending February 2025, the HFR Cryptocurrency Index has produced a annualised return of +51.4% and a cumulative gain of +694.6%, with annualised volatility of 59.5%.
