Horizon Trading Solutions has expanded its electronic trading platform to support market making on Kalshi, the CFTC-regulated prediction market, as institutional participation in event-driven trading continues to grow.
The Paris-based provider of electronic trading and algorithmic technology said the new capabilities provide market makers with native connectivity to Kalshi, enabling them to quote, trade and hedge event contracts alongside cash equities and listed derivatives through a single platform.
The enhancement is designed to address the specific requirements of event markets, including rapid repricing, probability-based quoting and cross-venue risk management. Horizon said its platform combines low-latency execution, high message throughput, integrated risk management and continuous 24/7 operation and monitoring to help firms manage liquidity provision and exposure.
