Hudson Bay Capital Management has hired Adrian Lee, a former Asia equity capital markets specialist at Balyasny Asset Management, as part of its continued build-out in the region, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Lee joins from Balyasny, where he spent around two years overseeing ECM-related activities in Asia. Prior to that, he had an 11-year tenure at Credit Suisse, ultimately serving as co-head of APAC ECM syndicate.
Based in Hong Kong, Lee is expected to take on a similar role at Hudson Bay, focusing on capital markets opportunities such as IPO allocations and follow-on offerings. His appointment comes as the firm continues to expand its presence in Asia, following a series of recent hires in the region.
