Infini Capital, a multi-strategy, multi-Portfolio Manager hedge fund focused on investment opportunities in pan-Asian markets, has named Jigar Patel as the firm’s new Head of Portfolio Strategy and Head of Middle East.
Patel joins from CIBC Private Wealth Management US, where he spent over 17 years, most recently serving as Managing Director, and Co-Head of the firm’s hedge fund platform, which he co-founded.
At Infini, Patel will focus on building a strong presence in the region, and institutionalising portfolio and risk management processes, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Founded by Tony Chin in 2015, Infini has evolved from a proprietary trading house into an alternative investment manager, with the Infini Global Master Fund launching in November 2023.
