Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) has launched DOM Global Macro – a new liquid, diversified absolute-return UCITs strategy – as the firm continues to expand its Alternatives franchise for institutional and private clients.
Launching with approximately $100m, the DOM Global Macro strategy takes long and short positions across the liquid multi-asset universe, aiming to deliver consistent, positive performance in all market environments, according to a press statement.
DOM Global Macro employs a multi-strategy approach combining proprietary systematic strategies with discretionary trading to build a diversified portfolio across asset classes with exposure to alternative and uncorrelated return sources outside of conventional equity and bond markets.
Jean-Pascal Porcherot, Co-Head of LOIM and Managing Partner, Lombard Odier said: “With the launch of DOM Global Macro, clients benefit from the team’s extensive expertise managing multi-asset macro strategies that target absolute returns.”
The DOM Global Macro, led by Valentin Petrescou and Didier Anthamatten, who joined LOIM in April 2024, collectively managed $1.8bn in two former UCITs strategies for the past four years.
