London-based Man Group, the world’s largest listed hedge fund firm, has launched a recruitment drive in Bulgaria focused on adding engineers and quant developers to its team in Sofia, according to a report by Financial News.
The report cites an unnamed source as revealing that last month, Deyan Pandulez joined Man Group’s Bulgaria team in a senior role having previously served as Chef Technology officer at online casino games firm Amusement.
And other tech appointments are expected with the firm, which globally employs 1,655 people according to its latest annual report, reportedly looking for developers, infrastructure and platform specialists with Python and Java skills.
One current Man Group opportunity on LinkedIn is for Frontend Engineers to build the firm’s “infrastructure and systems that power investment decision making, electronic trading and risk management”.
