Millennium Management has recruited Erdit Hoxha, co-head of global equities at Goldman Sachs, marking the latest high-profile hire from the investment bank by the $86bn multi-manager hedge fund, according to a report by the Financial Times.
The reports cites unnamed people familiar with then matter as confirming that Hoxha, who is based in London and was promoted to his role at Goldman last year, will join Millennium’s Office of the Chief Investment Officer. The group plays a central role in overseeing investment operations and risk management across the firm’s trading businesses.
Founded by Izzy Englander, Millennium established the Office of the CIO in 2022 as part of a longer-term succession and governance strategy. The unit includes several senior figures with Goldman backgrounds, reflecting Millennium’s history of drawing talent from the bank.
Hoxha joined Goldman more than 20 years ago as an investment banking analyst and was named a partner in 2016.
Both Millennium and Goldman Sachs reportedly declined to comment on the move.
