Global corporate credit trading specialist Muzinich & Co has made a series of senior appointments aimed at reinforcing its global investment platform and supporting continued growth across public and private credit markets.
The firm has named Tatjana Greil Castro as Global Head of Investments, Thomas Samson as Global Head of High Yield, and Hugo Wheeler as Head of Global Accounts and Marketing.
The appointments reflect a broader push by the corporate credit specialist to enhance coordination across investment teams and deepen engagement with institutional investors, as demand for credit strategies continues to evolve.
In her expanded role, Greil Castro will oversee the firm’s investment activities across both public and private credit, with a mandate to strengthen investment processes, risk management and cross-regional collaboration.
Samson will take on global responsibility for the high yield platform, building on his existing leadership of European strategies. His remit includes aligning teams across regions to better capture opportunities in global high yield markets.
Wheeler meanwhile, will focus on strengthening relationships with key institutional clients and distribution partners, as well as supporting the firm’s broader growth strategy through enhanced global marketing and account management.
Chief executive Justin Muzinich said the appointments are intended to ensure the firm is well positioned to identify opportunities across global credit markets while meeting the increasingly international needs of its client base.
